The Ubu is a performance hall inaugurated in 1987. A former children's daycare transformed into a café-theatre then a concert hall, the Ubu is a project carried out by the founders of the Rencontres Trans Musicales de Rennes with the aim of promoting rock scene in Rennes.

 

The Trans Musicales association has made it possible to discover, in France, many talents such as Björk, Nirvana, LCD Soundsystem, IAM, Portishead, Beck, Les Béruriers Noirs, Ben Harper or even Lenny Kravitz and Daft Punk...

 

The latter two having played in this oh-so-important room! ​ During this evening, you will have the opportunity to discover two artists accompanied by the Trans Musicales association and to discover from the inside how this concert hall works.
